Hayden's 'weed' comment adds fuel to fire

Well I hope the Indians react by getting fired up and ripping apart the Aussie lineup.

These kinds of actions are always made in extremely poor taste. I would expect an experienced player like Hayden to avoid these kinds of controversial things.
Yeah, by react I meant media. I don't want to come 5 hours later and see Harbhajan Singh having made a similarly juvenile comment. Additionally, I guess the Australians don't care about the "what happens on the field stays on the field" any more. This certainly proves it.

Are the Aussies delibarately trying to cause a fight or is it just me?

BTW, where are the aussie members in this thread?

They are sleeping :p only me (indian aussie ) supporter is here now :)

Mind games. Just trying to get under Harbahjan's skin. It's clear he's pretty easy to get at and so they're exploiting it. Same mind games as they always pull. McGrath targetting whoever at the start of series etc.

Answer to first question?

That is the answer to your 2nd one and for the first one , no one is trying to put up a fight or anything like that . They are just putting their views . True and Valid reasons

But why mind games when everything between the sides is just about going well again? Can't they just behave like men and just beat us on the field? Instead of having to stir us up first.....

(bull****) :mad

It's inbred into Australian cricket that sledging is a part of the game, as it is in England. It isn't in India, it's a cultural divide. It is most definitely mind games. I don't see why Hayden, built like an absolute steam train would need to talk to the media if it wasn't anything other than mind games. Quite frankly he could just go tell Harbhajan.

You see thats why said it to the media, to strengthen the loving relationship between Australia and India even more...:onpc:mad:

I agree. The Australian's aren't blameless by any means but this is mind game from Hayden Australian's do it all the time. Harbahjan is a total cock. He has been the one at the centre of all the controversies. As I said, the Australian's aren't blameless by any means, but the rest of the Indians have behaved incredibly well and it seems that it is only Harbhajan who has dragged them into these mass rows.

Also, I did find it hilarious after all the talk of the sledging being to heavy to have found that Hayden called Harbahjan a 'bad boy' and managed to get a reaction. Quite frankly if someone called me a bad boy, in real life or on a cricket pitch I'd laugh at them and ask them if they were 5.

Its not bhajji alone there is another cock (symonds) that has been the centre of all the controversies. And on most of the occasions he starts the fight and get away very easily.

I never said the Australian's weren't blameless. Harbahjan has been behind every controversy that has featured India so far, whereas 2/3 Australian's have been involved in them, singularly.

I also think the second statement is very naive and designed to stir up trouble.

This'll do for your monkeys and that Godzilla.:D
