Help In batting!

Hi guys.. I have playing Cricket 2005 for like 1 week, but still I can't hit any runs. I found Practice nets useless. I always get out when I run.. And when I try to hit six it goes too high and I always get out in catching.. Please Need your Help!

try on normal pitch ....but before that just check your timing in hte nets it should be in the "Ideal" slot....then only you can hit properly..otherwise you will get out easily....

Best way to learn to bat is to do just that, bat- you'll get a far better sense of how well you hit it then the practise nets, and you will learn at what point to hit the ball, just takes a bit of practise. The meter in the practise nets is far too forgiving and the commentators congratulate you for missing the ball altogether- play proper games and keep playing them, you'll improve quickly and realise it's actually pretty easy
