Help Needed

Hi, i'm new to this site.
Have owned Cricket 2004 (PC) for just under a week now, and am having some problems with it.
Batting is fine, no probs. But when it comes to bowling i keep getting smashed all over the ground, in all game modes.
I was wondering if there are any guides on this forum for bowling, or which is the best patch to download that makes bowling slightly easier?
Sorry if this has been posted many times before, but i am new to this site and havent seen much.

May i also add that i'm playing the game on easy, yet am still finding it difficult to bowl.

By all game modes do you mean ODI's and Tests? Cause getting smashed in short one dayers is normal, if you're finding it hard on Test as well you just need to practise .

Did mean tests as well. I think because i only previously owned Cricket '99, i was expecting this game to be easier than it is. Very realistic though!
