c2k5 was fine. I then had 2 uninstall it and now i have reinstalled it but i get a message saying there is a problem with one of the installation files called DATA2.
Someone please help or atleast try to...

did you try reinstalling again ??

also whats the size of the installed folder ?

I tried reinstalling it. it is something to do with the cyclic redundancy check of data2 file on cricket 2005.

cyclic redundancy check comes when I am installing it.

cyclic redundancy error usually comes when something is corrupted
and usually appears while installing.

try copying all the files from the CD to your Hard Disk. if its showing
an error in copying, then your CD is scratched/file is corrupted.

I tried copying the CD to my hard drive it still says things about cylic redundancy. So Im going to have trouble now playing cric05.

So then wot do i do. I spent ?30 on the game...thats like throwing ?30 in the bin.

As long as you still have the receipt the retailer you bought it from is obligated to give you another copy.

I got it from Amazon.co.uk though...

i think it must be because of the scatches so i tried putting toothpaste on them as thats what it says on a website. Hope it works!
