Help with icc 2010 understanding.....

hi,
i bought icc 2010 a few days back and i started playing it.....the problem is that while i take into consideration the weakness of batsman and bowl so as to get him out....it doesn't work and my players which are in good form gets out easily even if i put them in normal mode......pls help me in understanding the game...thnx......:help:help:help:help

by icc10 do you mean international cricket for xbox and ps3 or international cricket captain 2010 for computer?

Yeah, I'd read the tips bit of the manual. If you bought online, the manual is here and the tips are page 16 onwards.

i am on the same boat but wht i do is play with watching fours and sixes as batsmen gets more runs thats wht i think and i win games now.

dude my top class batsmen like sehwag, sachin, dravid goes for mere 10 - 15 runs....strange.........

yeh some players ratings are so freaking poor like sohail tanvir is better than afridi in batting ?????

for making the game realistic.......the players should be playing like a real player....but it seems they play worst than a newbie...................

I've made some AI tweaks for the next patch, Dhoni and Sehwag have been improved. Didn't know about Tanvir/Afridi situation, if I can I'll make the neccessary changes. Any other changes AI wise that need doing? I'll fit them in if I can.

sureshot thanks for making the necessary tweaks but please take into considerations the ratings becoz i don't think the ratings given are right....vvs laxman(batsmen) bowls better than the other bowlers in indian team...takes alot wickets......i hope you make note of this....thnx again for making the changes for the next update..........

By tweaks, I mean tweaking the ratings. I'll jump on my laptop in the morning and try and add them. Any others need doing from India?

Maybe just get a spreadsheet of every single players ratings, and see what ones are out of place.
You're bout to find a few random players in the top 50 bowlers/batsmen, which you can just drop down.
Also you could scan through the list and see what players are way out of place.
