Hitting 6's using Sidewinder

Hi,

I've recently bought EA Cricket 2002 and use a MS Sidewinder Plug and PLay gamepad.

I can't for the life of me seem to be able to hit a six, either by advancing down the pitch or by using the 'power' boost button.

Is there any way of reconfiguring the controller to be abel to do this - the computer seems to be able to hit sixes ok but i suck at the moment!

Any help or tips appreciated!

The powerboost and advance key cannot be operated in single. At any time they should be combined with either frontfoot or backfoot shot to get the desired effect.
