Just as the topic suggests, curious to know how the other games like AFL, Rugby, Dirt Track and so on developed by Bigants studios are compared to DBC17?
Do they always/mostly released bugged, half baked games?

They have recently realeased a rugby game.

I have rugby league live 3 and lacrosse and enjoy them both.....I am not a player or expert at those sports so cant comment on the authenticity but i enjoy them both and I find the RRL3 game in particular very well done in terms of finish and polish.....at the end of July RLL4 is coming out added to that I spent many hours on DBC14 and now on DBC17 having a lot of fun...the bugs don't bother me personally, certainly nothing gamebreaking for me....I wont answer the poll as none of the options fits my opinion.....DBC17 is still a great game for me...

You are playing on franco's version though...

That is true but even before that i was still enjoying the game: I am not here to defend BA or whatever and personally i feel that in terms of PR they shoot themselves in the foot too often but am just expressing the fact that for me the game gives a lot of enjoyment...

I'm also enjoying the game in my own way - just a little disappointed with issues in a few areas as we are so close to the ideal game.

As has been said about many games since the dawn of gaming......

I can't understand, DBC14 had a good stats recording as well as field placements working fine, both seem to be in a big mess here and even more puzzling is that they were not fixed even after 6 months of release and after 4 patches. Only BA can explain what is going on here.

Basically they have f****d it up big time and it seems beyond their capabilities to put it right now, maybe it's a about money now and not having the resources to fix it. Who knows as no-one from BA will comment on the future of the game regarding further patches.

Half baked? Cricket became this close in gaming industry because of BigAnts. At least they made efforts trying to bake it without minding it's complicated ingredients.

I have their RLL3, and enjoyed learning that game. I too can't speak on authenticity of RLL3 as I purchased it only to support them. I will continue to buy their games.

I like Rugby League 3, but it's fairly basic. I don't think I'll be buying the next one though unless the reviews are great (meaning 7.5+) and a ton of worthwhile new features are added. I love that BA are an Aussie company making things that are I'm interested in but Cricket 17 was a shambles at release and still is, so until marked improvements happen with the state of games that are released by BA, I won't be touching another one.

I play on ps4 so no hack and I've had a blast. I have genuinely played more matches & competitions to completion then I ever did with dbc14 before Franco's hack and on that measure I put dbc17 as by far the superior game, and post patch 4 dbc17 vs final patch dbc14 no hack there is just no comparison.

Not that there aren't frustrations, but as @Dutch says it's just not game breaking for me in a way that zero edges was in dbc14.

I must say however I didn't play career in either game. If I did I'd say neither game was good enough - the static career in 14 and incorrect stats in 17 breaks both modes IMO.

In all other modes however dbc17 is a great game and I don't get the negativity. I accept the negativity around the initial release which wasn't good enough, but it's currently a fine game.

I feel peoples opinions of these games go down as they don't take time out to learn the basic and advanced game play of these sports, sad but true.

EA sports get away with 'tweaking' games year on and year out innovation needs to be rewarded. Yes, DBC 17 has problems but then every game released has. I would have preferred they stick with DBC 14 and improved upon that but would they have got caught in the 'tweaking zone' (no I did say tweak than...)[DOUBLEPOST=1498765403][/DOUBLEPOST]

You are leaning heavily towards the negative that poll is a little contrived...!
