How many matches did you see from Stands?

Who did Gayle smash in the Super over? IIRC it was Vettori? or another spinner

Vettori had a mare! Worst I've seen him bowl for a while. Who knows why a spinner would bowl a super over anyway

he bowled the best in the game, but you know it didn't really matter because i was having fun; 2 sixes went over my head i almost caught one (kinda) it landed 5 rows back and bounced of a empty seat in row 5 and i put my hand out as it came down, but some other guy snatched it off me .

2 test matches. One was India vs I forgot, only thing I remember is I went with my bro and dad and Javagal Srinath waved at our part of the stand.

2nd time we bunked school to catch India vs Pakistan at Kotla. Sachin got run out on a duck but India still hammered Pakistan. Its memorable for me because I almost got me and my friends chucked out of the stadium after I yelled the curse word (bhen) at Shoaib Akhtar when he was coming back to take his run up, and he clearly saw me (I got carried away with the crowd but I didn't notice the moment where most people had gone quite around me because a guard had just shown up behind us). Received a lot of scolding from that guard =\ But man does Akhtar like to flex his arms, he fields just to show them off.

Since coming to US last year though I've only been to a WWE Raw event so far. Oh yeah I was also there when they toured Delhi.

We had a full on conversation with Srinath in Kannada during a NSW vs India game in Sydney. My first ever cricket match. The Aussies around us were being fairly racist so Srinath told us to move and we talked for the rest of the days play. I think he picked up 4 or 5 wickets too. :)

Only international match I've been to was India vs SL in Trindad and Tobago for the WC in 07. Was a bad match but we stayed in the same hotel as all the cricketers so it was freaking amazing. Bumped into Dravid in the elevators, ate breakfast right next to Anil Kumble and Sachin, dinner right next to Jayawerdene and Maharoof... talked to Murali alot in Tamil, he is such a boss. Talked to KKD alot as well :D. Must say the Lankan guys are very, very nice. We had some prats in the Indian team though, mainly Yuvraj who was walking around like he owned the place, pouting when asked for his autograph and whatnot. But most were great.

Bat man, the Bangladeshi boys in the swimming pool was just disgusting...it looked like they were wearing sweaters even with their shirt off!
Oh, and Mashrafe is an absolute tool

Cricketman added 9 Minutes and 36 Seconds later...

I've been to a few Bichu Babu games (3 day FC's) which are held every year in July in Chennai. I've met all of the TN team, Mumbai, main guys for Saurashra (sp) and Kerala. Vidharbha too, which is where the new guy Umesh Yadav is from.

American sports i've only been to two: Bulls game where we got absolutely smashed by Orlando and a Tigers game which we wrecked the Cubs in (lol, Cubs! :laugh)

Don't get the chance to go to a lot of Cricket, but last year I saw a couple of Big Bash games.

Queensland v Victoria - Vics won on D/L, crowd was booing heavy because when they were off and the rain stopped Cam White was f'ing around then it rained again before they got back on. Queensland were on a roll, and I reckon they would've won. Got to see some Ross Taylor big hitting, and Carseldine take an absolute gem at slip.

Queensland v Tasmania - We won, just. Hopesy played very well, and Brett Geeves took a hat-trick.

Also saw 2 days of the Pura Cup (now Sheffield Shield) final in 2006. Saw Brad Hodge's century but wish I had've seen Queensland bat. They made 6/900.

You're great Cricketman. You got chance to talk to players in local language.

there was a otago/auckland match here; we went to get yasir arafat's signature and my friend started to talk to him in urdu, he smiled and then all of us started talking in hindi/urdu. And at this other match something really funny happened; we needed 12 to win of 16 balls, scott styris hits a six and another six, but this ball goes miles up into the sun. me and two friends were sitting right on the boundarie's edge. a fielder (george worker) started walking back..back... tripped on the boundary rope and landed on my friend after a few seconds the ball lands half a metre away from me. I was laughing the whole day; luckily for george worker and my squashed friend the match wasn't televised :laugh, unlucky for me though :laugh:laugh

The best experience of my cricket watching life:
After a NZ vs SL test in Dunedin, the SL players were waiting for there bus and me and my mate were waiting for my mum. Long story Short, Murali and Vaas asked me and my mate if we wanted to play a game of cricket with them and about 8 of the SL team joined in! It was flinging amazing!!!!! I only remember Vaas, Murali, Fernando (I think) and Malinga!
Murali was one of the nicest people i've met

I talked only with Michael Clarke, Brett Lee, Stuart Clark, Dwayne Bravo and signaled to Kieron Pollard (Middle finger:p).

When he took Gilchrist's catch (DC VS TT), he showed his middle finger to crowd. We were angry and took our revenge in CLT20 final:p.
