How to take a catch

Hi,

COuld somebody please tel me how to take a catch in BLC2005. i tried hitting the 1 button (that is 'S') which was assigned for catching and nothing happens. Fielders imply drops it. It happens alwasy unless it a slip catch. Please help me.
