how were the FEG and CONFIGS files found...?

hi i was just looking at the feg.dat and config.dat file bith with a hex editor as well as a text editor.

but i was unable to find the names of any of the files which are used in the FEG and CONFIGS folder.

so how did we come to know which files NAMES to use in the folders.

plz rely coz i was looking at the files to find anything which can help in making a new patch.

ok ok i got it..........the file names r in the cricket2002.exe file.

but one thing was strange that the files name for e.g for the exhibition match is - feg\ls\exhib.tga
but this directory doesn't acctually exists. r these sort of virtual directory created by the game or they r for us to make such a directory and put our custom files there.

is there any why though which we can edit the original files like for e.g the file for exhibition match.

plz if anybody would like to help me in this.
