Because it can be very expensive. I'd imagine the ICC series is more profitable as it probably has less people making the game.

Presumably because ICC Cricket Captain is ICC endorsed they get the real names for the database as this makes it the ICC's flagship Cricket game non?

Whereas Cricket 2007 has no affiliation with any Cricket boards.

The International Cricket Captain series is not affiliated with the International Cricket Council at all.

Well international cricket captain is based around database so they HAVE to buy the names really. c07 is more gameplay.
