Yeah Exactly last time it was scored off Pat Cummins and now picked the bones out of Phehelukwayo.

That and also Elliott’s massive six in the semis from Steyn’s last over.

Oh .... Yeah much similar to the semifinal one but was a heartbreaking moment for me as well wanted SA to win the WC and was more depressed compared to India losing against Australia in the 2nd Semifinal.

Want to to end it, it was a close game at the end.
Kane Williamson played a captain innings here, stay there till the end and finish the game off with a six and a century.
I guess South Africa are out now.

You would not have been saying this if QdK would have agreed to review the caught behind off Tahir. The game changer was CDG.

If Bangladesh do not beat Australia tomorrow, the Top 4 is almost finalized. Can't see NZ messing it up. Even though they have to face Australia and England, they also face WI and Pakistan, two mercurial teams who have hugely under-performed and are on the perilous edge. I expect NZ to pick up a win against either Australia and England and maybe a win or two against WI and Pakistan. That should give them a path to the semis.

I'd actually say that Australia's remaining games look tough for them. They face Bangladesh (who are on a pretty impressive run), England, New Zealand and South Africa. I am sure SA will want to bow out of this WC on a high and so will play for all their pride. England will be overwhelming favorites and seeing the way NZ have played, its another tough battle. Won't be surprised if Australia suddenly slip up and not make it.

I still feel the tournament is about to come alive. NZ-WI, AUS-BAN this week and all of AUS/NZ's remaining games will be tricky for those teams. Australia look very beatable. If Bangladesh bat the way they did and can restrict Australia to 320-330 at the most, they can challenge them. Bangladesh must chase.

Hoping for a Bangla win today. Else we might end up with 2 weeks of dead rubbers unless India springs up some surprises and is handed a bunch of upsets (which I definitely do not want)

I think both teams are fairly evenly matched except for the Starc factor

I agree with you about NZ but disagree on the OZ perspective. I don't see SA bothering them unless AUS have already qualified by then. And, I feel AUS will really challenge ENG (they beat them in warm ups) and the match against NZ I see AUS favourites.

I also am now seeing that the draw for this World Cup is about as disastrous as the rain. I predicted half a year ago that the top 4 would be as the table stands and there was 1 game between them in the first half or perhaps even the first third of this competition which was a washout to boot. This means that the favourites basically played all lower ranked teams first which is why we are in a situation where in a week we will know the semi finalists with about 10-15 games remaining. Another sham.

Ideally this is meant to be a yawning week from an Indian fan's perspective as they are playing Afghanistan and Windies in back to back matches and I don't see India losing to them.

The other point is I do see either of or both England and Bangladesh beating India. And I believe such a loss is necessary for Indian team before they get to the Semi-finals to keep them grounded which hasn't been in the case in last few years. We have a safe sailing till the knockouts and then we lose due to over-confidence and some blunder of decisions !!

Is it just me, or has Warner's approach been a bit too careful considering the Aussie batting line up?

Left arm spinner bowling the 41st to two left handers with the short boundary on the on side? Some captaincy!

Can't understand the obsession to compare each and every player with Virat Kohli by the Commentators this WC. Virat Kohli is a different class and his batting is like a dream for any batsman in the world currently. But that doesn't mean that others aren't great. Every player has their own strength and it's best in their own way. So there arises no point to compare every player with him. It's time the players get the credit where it's due !![DOUBLEPOST=1561033488][/DOUBLEPOST]400 on cards here !!!

Another instance of a player missing out on a double 100. Probably this has happened for the 3rd time this tournament. Now all those people claiming of flat pitches and poor bowling line-up should understand that making a 200 in ODI is a no mean task. It's hard to achieve !!! Hats off to Sachin, Sehwag, Rohit, Gayle, Guptill and Fakhar Zaman while this guy Rohit has gone on to make 3 double hundreds and he still isn't satisfied itself shows his greatness as an opener and his sheer willingness to score those big-daddy hundreds once he gets in.[DOUBLEPOST=1561034751][/DOUBLEPOST]ATM Maxwell is playing some outrageous shots. What a cameo this is !!!!

Oh !!!!!! Maxwell misses out on the fastest ODI 50 :facepalm

AB de Villiers record is still safe

Did Khawaja just run out Maxwell then give away his own wicket :facepalm

Good Innings though.
