Extremely happy to see that the World Cup has picked up recently in about the last week and a half or so. Better late than never! Haven't seen a wash out for a little while and not really anymore one sided contests. Hopefully for the semi finals and the finals the pitches aren't flat roads.

And yet again, we fail to accelerate properly when our start gave us the platform for scoring 360. Yes, the pitch did slow down but 340 would have been an easily winning total today. 315 is definitely within the realms of Bangladeshi batsmen and they’ve already shown the composure to score 300 plus runs in the second innings. Bumrah and co need to save India once more.

Really expected Pant to score a lot more versus Shakib but he was too good with the ball in the end. Can’t blame Dhoni much either, Mustafizur was just too good with the ball and DK had already gone.

Hoping that Tamim doesn’t finally show up today.

Interestingly, in the early weeks we had overcoast conditions and pitches where it was extremely difficult to score quickly in the powerplay and got a lot easier to smash with wickets in hand at the death. It is the inverse now with the opening overs being easier to score comparatively and the pitch becoming slower later on.

He will either score a run-a-ball hundred or die trying today after that dropped catch.

I'm a little worried with the total that we have. Normally, I would have expected India to win from this situation but the way Bangladesh have performed in this WC, I beleive they are truly in the game.

This has the makings of an exciting match and hope it doesn't turn one sided (either Bangladesh collapsing or Indian bowlers getting hammered left and right). Let this go down to the wire!

Think we are expecting too much. Bangladesh would take the match if they don't lose early wickets. Match should end by 45 overs

Don't get the logic of giving Bumrah the new ball when Shami has been our best new ball bowler in the last 2 games. Bumrah can bowl at any stage, Shami has been very expensive at the death.

All talking about India not making 350+, but to me, this is a good total on a pitch that keeps getting slower and slower at a quick pace. Same pitch as last game and as the ball gets older, it gets tough real fast. And good thing we have gone with 3 seamers + Pandya. Fizz took full use of the slowness and add more slowness to his deliveries and reaped results. Its very hard to hit in the end and if India can get Bangladesh's required rate to 9 or above in the final 10 overs, India will be firmly in the driver's seat.

Good changes today, especially bringing Bhuvi for a spinner. Gives us better insurance at the death. And Shami to attack in the middle and 2nd/3rd Powerplay.
