Rules:

• All attempts must have a save file with them, we need this so we can verify that you have use 'Normal' level. I will post an example later of how to do this.
• If asked to provide a save game file you must provide one, or the attempt is invalid.
• Post a screen shot of your record (attempt at) OR tell us which record you are trying to break, and in which match. How to post a screen shot
• Economical figures in the One Day games are over 10 completed overs by the bowler, or 8 if in a Pro40 game. 4 overs if in a T20.
• It is up to the discretion of the moderators to accept or refuse any record attempts
• These Records are open to ICC 2005, ICC2006 (both editions), ICC3 and ICC2008.
• State which version of the game you are using, ie ICC06, ICC06 Ashes Edition, ICC3.
• Records will only be accepted if they are in normal level.

Information:

• The lowest team totals are to be of the opposition only. You will have to prove that they are the opposition, you can do a screen shot of your teams fixtures from your 'Team Details' page.
• I (Sureshot) will answer any queries you have on this, so PM me any time if you have any queries.
• One of the reasons I am doing this is to coincide with the release of ICC2008. I hope this will attract big attention for this comprehensive records list.
• I am happy to announce that Dean (aus5892) will be helping me out with this, I also know that Simbazz will help you if need be, though he doesn't have any moderating power, he has helped me behind the scenes.
• Link to rules regarding First Class wickets in a season Essentially, it boils down to the fact I don't want to reward people for something the AI did!

The difficulty of the records will be set by me and I will put next to each record what they are worth. This will be done at some point this afternoon.


Note:
This is still a work in progress so be patient early on, I may have to make alterations. This is the reason why this will remain locked for the time being, though this shouldn't be for long.
Please be patient with me (and us), things may go wrong, things may need changing.
We have decided to do this through the save files, as it's the only way we can make sure a record is valid. It may sound complicated, but it shouldn't be. We will tell you how to do this.
If you have any suggestions for new records we could do, please suggest them.

Creating a save file.
1 - Download and install WinRAR
2 - Go to your save file for the game (It should be in 'Saves' in the ICC folder)
3 - Highlight both the .cap and .sav files of the game save with your record attempt on it
4 - Right click, 'Add to Archive'
5 - Put it into the 'RAR' format
6 - In the Post Reply options on Planet Cricket is a 'Manage Attachments' tab, click on it, click browse and find the RAR save file, click upload. This may take a while.

This is now open, I ask for all queries to go in the Queries thread (the other sticky in the ICC Records section).

So your posts in here should be something like this:

1. State the record you are trying to break (or set a new one as will be the case)
2. Enclose a save file, instructions are above

You will need to be able to prove the record, so it will be easiest to save and exit after the game in which has your attempt, then post your save file. If it's in a game from a past season, we can't do anything about it, if it's a game from earlier in the season, I think we can if it's a domestic game.

Please bear with us though, we may not get it 100% right from the off.

I don't have a screenshot, but in my .cap file J.Corbett scored 363* to set the highest individual test innings record.
