Team manager and eccentric captain Sohum Misra today unveiled his team and logo for the Planetcricket Cricsim Tournament. Speaking at a press release, Misra said, "The International Crafty Cricketers Supersoakers are clearly going to be the best team in the tournament with extreme strategizing and a talented pool of cricketers. We have also been endowed with high monetary resources [because of our connection with the liquor business]." The Supersoakers will be unveiling their logo and other resources, as well as be drafting their team later on this week.

The ICC Supersoakers management today announced a supporter and unveiled the home kit for the Supersoakers team. Since the club did not require any financial backing, they have decided instead to donate sponsorship space to charitable organizations. The first organization to have signed on is the International Red Cross. Speaking to the media, team manager Sohum Misra said, "ICC Supersoakers are sensationalizing a new concept--sport for a good cause. Most teams are profit-maximizing entities--we believe in helping the real world. We will not only be giving what would have been expensive ad-space to the Red Cross for free, but we are also going to contribute 65% of our earnings to the HIV/AIDS cause." Such a benevolent move by the Supersoakers has resulted in increased support in a recent polling of the cricket fanbase of the world.
