In the women's game it seems the top four teams are extremely evenly matched.

No way, even the women's 50 over world cup was fun to watch. I bet the Aussie seamers would fearsome tweak you up if you were at the crease. They were hitting 130s

The problem with playing Men's and Women's game together is that when you play the Women's matches on the same pitch before the men's game, it turns slower and the men's game mostly turn out to be low scoring which is not ideal for the tournament. The same thing happened in the last World T20, the super sixes and the finals were low scoring because Women's games were being played on the same pitches.

Well they have as much right to play as the men. Guess we could make them play after. Not sure how accurate this is though that they played on the same pitches. In the 50 over WC they did not even play at the same stadiums.

New Zealand FTW!!!
We are flipping up the Aussie's in the T20's ATM, so should probably be favourites.

Still I would prefer fresh pitches for the matches just like the first World T20. The semis and the finals turned out to be crap in the last WC, Afridi and Ajmal were impossible to go after.

I am not questioning the rights of the women, but still a lot more people follow men's cricket so ICC should make sure the men's tournament turn out to be good. I just don't like both the tournaments being played at the same time. May be a proper and separate calendar should be there for the women.

The whole point of playing them together is to garner more interest in the womens game.

I don't think they've been successful in doing so, you seem to be the only one finding more interest in it :p

Just checked the fixtures, this time around women's tournament will finish on May 8 and Men's will finish on May 16 so they seem to have sorted things out.

Im pretty sure womens cricket is fairly popular in England and Australia. Just because its not in the SC does not mean I am the only one watching it.

Charlotte Edwards and Clair Taylor have a decent amount of celebrity.

Not only in SC but also SA, WIl don't really care about women's cricket. I am not sure about NZ though.

Women's cricket = weak, it's nothing like WNBA or Women's football.
