India in England/Ireland/Scotland

Lol!
Ok what happened was i saw a replay of yesterdays play. And i said "It didn't look like it had been raining" Because it didn't yeterday... ;l

KP's gone. I don't think it carried looking at the replays

He's coming back!

It didn't rain yesterday GMT time and it rained all night until 13:00

Now to be all pedantic. :D

The UK is not under GMT at the moment. We are under British Summer Time... BST.

Not Out! Pietersen given out, walks off, sees it on the screen, goes back, goes to third umpire and given not out! Yay!

I'd moan about the decision but it's KP's fault anyway. That's why you should never walk.

India deserve that bad luck for Dhoni daring to claim he caught that. He shouldn't have appealed as confidently as he did unless he was absolutely sure, and there's no way he could have been.

Well it's not Dhoni's fault. He wasn't looking at the ball as he took it and the only thing he could have thought was that he'd caught it. It's not the first time something like that has happened.

It's obvious though when you take the ball if it has bounced. It just feels so different to when you take normally.

That is disgraceful on Dhoni's part, claiming that.

You cant blame him for claiming it. Although, he couldn't have been as certain as he conveyed.

This is interesting. The ABdV incident brought up an argument over whether batsmen should walk but this is one of the reasons they shouldn't.

Batsman shouldn't walk if they don't think their out in circumstances like this. The umpire relies on the fielders honesty as to whether to claim something like that as out. So if the batsman is sure the fielder hasn't caught it, taken it cleanly whatever they shouldn't walk. If they're LBW etc then they should, because it soley the umpires decision.

Lee, don't be naive. I'm not a wicket keeper by any means, but you know full well when the ball has bounced. I would have thought Dhoni was a better sportsman than to blatantly try to cheat like that.

@ Animator! - Yes, someone agrees with me!
