India's PoV is that they have been made to huff and puff against (with all due respect) a second string squad. Just wondering what the scoreline would have read had Stokes, Archer, Broad and Woakes played all the 4 Tests. I do agree though it's be
Huff & puff? I would say we rose to the occasion inspite of selection issues and not playing our best bowler. 78 all out levels things a bit.

The see-sawing doesn't point to that?

2018 Aus tour a lucky series win
2021 Aus tour a lucky series win

In other words, India can never perform well. If they have luck they win otherwise they lose.

Is this what you want to say? I can understand that you don't want to move out of your comfort zone and start being optimistic about our team's performance. :p

Time for Jadeja to repay the trust shown in him by Kohli. He needs to deliver here since we have made a genius decision not to play the only player who actually played county cricket to prepare for this series.
Shh!!!!! Don't speak about it otherwise people will call you a Kohli hater. :p

Atleast someone who can't view this thread definitely will if he finds out this post of yours. :D

Openers looking very comfortable. Pitch ain't doing much. Are we in for a record chase? You never know.

Tomorrow's 1st session crucial for India to pick some wickets. Don't think we will see any for today.

How to become a test specialist like Pujara, Virat, and Rahane?

Step 1 - Fail in three consecutive innings. People will start questioning your place in the playing XI.
Step 2 - Score a half-century in the 4th inning and save your place for the next two matches.
Step 3 - Repeat Step 1.

Says who?

Says who?

Not even remotely close to that

England can win this. They bat so deep, last session could be happy hours on day 5!
Can I get through the mourning of Ashwin's exclusion or you guys aren't going to let me forget it? :p

Jadeja in that last over finally found some rythym otherwise was quite mediorce with the ball.

And apart from the missing usual suspect the bowler that India will be missing is Shami on such flat decks his ability to move the older ball in the 2nd innings is exemplary

Pitch that in the rough stuff Jadeja.

India might have to ask Rohit and Pujara to bowl tomorrow! The commentators keep talking about history and "no side has chased so much at Oval, blah blah", but we are in a T20 generation folks and in this generation, history will repeatedly be shredded to smithereens. India should've ideally batted 15 overs more for another 50 odd runs... That'd have squeezed England for time and the prospect of chasing a 400+ score.

This doesn't seem hard anymore. They are going to bring down the target to less than 300 by today and chasing that down on this pitch with no threatening spinner in the opposition ranks is going to be an easy ride. India did it at the Gabba and they might be at the receiving end this time.
