Thanks for creating the thread. I would've made it if I did not have time constraints.

Who is the replacement of injured Shikhar Dhawan ?

I think India enter the Kiwi territory as being favourites to win in all 3 forms of the game this time around but then we toured England as favourites back in 2018 to get humiliated with a 4-1loss. This Indian side knows to compete but doesn't win matches that often in Overseas. Surely some work to do for them. What I believe is in ODIs we are going to have a tough time if we continue to play like the way we did against Australia in our last series.

So far no one! I think they will pick a player who does well for India A there!
Maybe Ishan Kishan or Shaw?

Also Ishant's injury has put our chances of winning in danger. Umesh Yadav or Navdeep Saini could play in place of him.

I would be keen to see Saini get a chance in Test matches

With current balance India can have better batting options but the down point to it is that they would keep on conceding 190-200 and would only be able to win 3/10 times. And also at most they would manage 10-12 runs less than the opposition because of the imbalance in the bowling.

This is some relief now to see Bumrah bowl again after that ankle twist.

203/5 is a tough ask to get. I think Shardul's spell made the difference to give away this match in New Zealand's favour. He is rather proving to be a burden to the Indian bowling inspite of trying to compensate it with the bat.

Good Captaincy from Williamson to give Santner an over this early. That made Rohit Sharma try something different which he isn't used to doing and there's a wicket for the Kiwis. An expensive over though but Santner got that big wicket nevertheless.[DOUBLEPOST=1579856218][/DOUBLEPOST]I am surprised to see Bennett making a comeback considering he lacks that control. Yes he is a wicket taking option but is very expensive at times.

Taylor had some nice Shami Kebabs for Dinner Today :p.
I've never been an advocate of having Shami in a T20I. He has time and again proved that he is a liability in this format.

But this is a great chase by India. Rahul and Iyer really putting Kohli in the shadow here. Bodes well for the Indian team.
