Yeah, Napier tomorrow is forecast showers. However it's Napier, they may still get at least a shortened game in if not most of it.

As for Christchurch the game is on Saturday. It's a bit far off to say it'll rain. It's been a nice last few days.

Irfan actually hit 143 kph from what I was watching. It's so frustrating to see him leaking runs even when he's swinging the ball.

Swing bowlers tend to give more runs away, though, especially if they are left-arm (since it's swinging into the batsman's pads a lot). I'm more frustrated that he hasn't been able to get that many wickets with it!

Interesting what decision we will take in terms of opening the bowling. I wonder if Dhoni will give the new ball to Praveen or Irfan, The other definetley being Zak.

Praveen is an ideal option for sharing the new ball with Zaheer. Let the opposition try carting him at their own risk. Irfan should never open the bowling in his life from now. He is hanging in there somehow. He should never be given the opening ball duties.

He he, I agree.... And also, the kit doesnt look as good as any of the previous ones that India have ever worn since the start of the ODI's

Praveen is definitely the better swing bowler. I would open with Zak and Praveen.

Interesting. The stream I'm watching is showing the games from last series. Nehra seems to be a decent bowler (or seemed). The biggest difference I see in the teams is definitely the fielding though. Ganguly and harbhajan are seen regularly conceding runs/boundaries. Also its kinda funny to see Dravid keeping wickets again haha.

Well NZ pitches are no longer known for green tops really. Apparently teams have been scoring 300+ here anyways.
