Hoping for a completed match (and of course as always, an Indian win)

And he gets out..... Typical Sehwag innings! Hope Gambhir takes it forward and Sachin stays put in there till close to the end and helps himself to a hundred.

Edit: HotSpot says not touched the bat at all.. Bad luck Veeru!

Sachin has arrived.

Man, Gambhir is just soo good at picking up those singles.

Damn the rain! Just when Sachin was treating us to something close to special, the rain comes and plays spoilsport.

I fear (for NZ) that India are getting into that groove where they might be unstoppable. I hear that Vettori could be unavailable for a few matches (due to his child birth) and I feel things might be looking ominous for New Zealand now. One thing they should do is keep a leash on Yuvraj because if Yuvraj also starts hitting big, they are in serious trouble.

Any good news on the rain stopping? I just got home all excited to watch and the freaking rain stops the game!!!

Rain Rain go away :(:(:(:(, We really want the play :crying:crying

I bet Danny Vetty is praying hard to the rain god. He knows what will happen to his team if the rain stops. Above all, we have our God at the crease. :happy

Dont say that. On the contrary, the rain could start helping the NZ bowlers more now as the air will be colder and the pitch could have taken in a bit of the water to make it fresher.

There we go. Take Yuvraj out of the sub continent and that's the most you can expect from him, edging behind the wicket.

He's overrated I tell ya.

We know it. ;)

How quickly things change, na? Now Dhoni is at the crease. Quite amazing how the game turned. And it was Vetty who picked Sachin? Oh, why did I ever say that

Sachin was PLUMB in front!!! Perfect dismissal. Yuvraj looked ugly getting out in the way that most 'non technically sound' Indian batsmen get out in games outside the subcontinent. He got out to the worst bowler of the day, Kyle Mills to a not so great ball.

My question is what happened to the low scoring pitch of Wellington? Last year when England played here it was very difficult to bat on and we have also seen that in the 2nd T20I of this tour. Today it really looked like an Antigua/Karachi type of wicket.

match abandoned....lets hope the forecast is better for sunday.

Geez either the NZ pitches are roads or our batters treated the NZ bowlers with too much respect. As we didn't look like doing this sort of damage to NZ. Their bowling has been really poor in both matches especially from Mills. Only Vettori is the shining light but he too is going at 4 an over which most teams would be happy with against him.
