Since there are so many international cricket players playing in this tournament, it is decided to include this series. This tournament will last 59 matches, so it's advisable to choose your players well.

For this tournament only foreign cricket players has been included and current (contracted) Indian players, who have been involved with international cricket recently.

In this tournament will also be included star performers from previous tournament, who neither are foreign players or recently played for India. A star performer will be someone who has either scored above 250 runs or 10 wickets in the previous tournament: Cricinfo - Records - Indian Premier League, 2007/08 This will be noted with a * behind a player's name. For the foreign and Indian (contracted) players, who recently played for India, it won't be noted if they were star performers in the previous tournament, because it's normally expected of them to perform.

For those who missed out on this tournament, there will be one seperate Fantasy game for the semi-finals and final altogether.

If you're talking about the players: it wasn't known before the deadline that certain players would feature in the IPL. Some players were contracted during the IPL.

I was actually replying to Abhas. But yeah, it's better to follow developments and later on include your team. Or you can just add your team and edit it later.

Also a special mention: Dhoni plays as a batsman, instead of a wicketkeeper. Parthiv Patel is the wicketkeeper of Chennai Super Kings.

The player selection was perfectly alright, and obviously we couldn't do anything in the featuring or non-featuring of a player.

Yeah, I remember it now. I think Aussie1st did some trick which allowed to still fill in the scores. Hopefully that won't happen again this time.
