Could also drop Tripathi and play another bowler although with Shakib in there, I doubt you'll feel the need for another bowling option. I think Shakib deserves to bat at three, he works best when he gets time to settle in and he is a fantastic batsman once set.

Seen Karun tear some attacks apart. And his domestic year is immaterial. If he can get 25-30 at 125-130 in half the games, he's done his job.

Not just Shaheen, even Junaid Khan who is nowhere on the international scene will get a contract and close to a million. Babar would probably go unsold. Franchises have now recognised that fast bowlers and fast bowling all rounders are a rarity in India. That's why teams go HAM on them!

The only other thing that can work is if your surname is Maxwell. He's the highest paid foreign batter. Just let that sink in. More than Warner, AB and Buttler.
