No sure why Gurkeerat didn't play ahead of Sundar. He is much better batsman than Sundar. I have no complaints though.

As soon as Morris made it to XI, there is a big difference in bowling performance. Alongside Isuru Udana, our death bowling has improved drastically.

Finch is more like a captain material for RCB than a player which is very good considering how pathetic is Kohli as a captain. Also, I've seen Finch setting up fields, and handling the bowling shuffles in tense times in past few games for RCB.

Well a team cannot always be dominating. CSK's dream run had to end. I am sure next year after the mega auction, they will be back strong. KL Rahul although has been batting like a dream, he needs to press the button and score quickly. Kings should have not lost that match.

Finch is likely to get worse than Kohli get better. Finch could learn some of Kohli's batsmanship, that would help.

Now this is called a loss, unlike the matches against DC and SRH, where there was no intent at all in the batting. Even the last match CSK should have won.

Loved the way Jagadeesan batted, though should have dived. He could have taken to the win perhaps.

I do not think CSK will make it to the playoffs. This is becoming a repeat of 2016 performance of RPS. Feeling sad for MSD here.

Nightmarish! My 2020 keeps getting worse and worse and worse....

One silver lining in this was the performance of Jagadeesan. Hope his knock has kept Kedar Jadhav out for good. But.... Ambati Rayudu cloned up Kedar Jadhav (from that KKR game) and inflicted the same amount of pain. I mean - come on! CSK has two players in that top order who run between wickets like 100 year old men (Shane Watson and Ambati Rayudu). They were well roasted on the English commentary today. Kohli was converting dot balls into 2's in that last over, and these guys convert 2's into dot balls.

Well summarized by MSD there - there are holes sprouting out of the ship on every side and when they patch up one hole, another new hole opens. I don't think I can stop watching this nightmare since I want to watch as much of MSD's last bit of playing days, but this is so painful....

Anybody else think Rayudu deserves to be dropped after a performance like that? A momentum sucking innings from him and despite that 40+ score, he lost it for CSK. And his running is piss poor. Cant have Watson and Rayudu running like that in our top order in a modern day game like this. Jagadeesan showed today that he has oodles of intent. Yes Ruturaj failed twice but at positions where he is not suited. Time to give him another chance and play him in his preferred position. Move Faf down again, that guy can fit anywhere. With Watson in form now, Ruturaj and Watson should open.

Only one of Curran or Bravo can play. Neither of them are really good enough with their bowling to be playing together. Anyways seeing the way CSK plays, neither of them gets enough batting time in the middle. So its now time to trust Shardul and Karn/Chawla and Chahar with the bat and sacrifice one of Curran or Bravo. Hazlewood/Ngidi or Tahir should be the fourth overseas player depending on the pitch.

Sam Curran for sure and maybe make him play as a pinch hitter. He is being wasted down the order. Bravo isn't bringing much to the table apart from being a gun fielder.

And CSK should bring in Tahir as well. Yes, their batting isn't clicking at the moment but Tahir is a wicket taking option. Should come in in place of Bravo.


And isn't there a way for RCB to keep ABD off keeper duties? It's likely affecting his batting.

It's alright about balance but what about current form and confidence. Can we really rely on Moeen to consistently deliver for any side after what has transpired in the last 18 months? And hence I feel Gurkeerat would be a good choice down the order and also he can bowl like Ali. I think just to keep De Villiers away from his keeping duties Phillipe should come in this side. Or maybe you bring back Parthiv and play Zampa as your third spinner.

As someone who follows England, I've seen Moeen play since the last IPL and I wouldn't want a player that woefully out of form near my side. Great squad man though.
