ICE probably stands for something else to this man, but no need to get into that for the silly little cricket league.

Welcome to cricket's best most entertaining league! In this league, winning is secondary to the taking part storylines.

To be honest, cricket usually writes its own storylines well enough. See: Ashes, 2023. But, some people (by which I mean the people behind T10) have decided that that's not enough. The manipulation of the results is almost too obvious.

But what if that was leaned into? What if a series owner was transparent about the fact that they're running this series as a scripted entertainment act rather than a true sporting contest?

Meet ICE, the International Cricket Entertainment. A T10 league of... well, that depends on how many of you sign up!

This league is obviously a bit different to the rest, so I'll go over how it'll work.

What I'll Do
* Create the league structure once I know how many people want in
* Sim matches, using RNG. (To figure out roughly the odds of outcomes for a ball, I'll be totting up the entirety of this year's Abu Dhabi T10 into a thing). However - see below for how you can influence this
* Write leaguewide storylines.

What You Can Do
* Create your own team in your own image. Obviously meme teams will be disallowed, but real teams are fair game if you so want. I do ask you have a logo though.
* Draft your team from scratch. (There will be a standard issue league draft to start, and a (re-)entry draft every season.
* Trade and sign free agents.
* Submit XIs. You may add instructions SO LONG AS they're not specifics (you can't tell me to make Gus Atkinson take 10/0 for example, but you can say that you need him to do especially well for a storyline).
* Write storylines about your own team and players.
One note on the above: I will still keep track of which players have the skills to win. No matter how hard anyone could try, the only way you could rig Pavel Florin to come out on top of Mitch Starc is by breaking Starc, and I'm not going to be like that.

What You Should Do
Sign up below! I'm willing to just take an "in" for now, but before the Initial Player Draft, I need a TEAM NAME, a LOGO and (if not a real team, or if different) a COLOUR SCHEME. I also would encourage storyline ideas both for your own team and for the league as a whole but PLEASE ONLY DM THESE TO ME.

Just as a FYI now that I'm not dead tired posting - I'll probably be making a Discord server for some league admin of this league (drafting, FA especially).

For everyone else: I totally understand not wanting to join this league as it is definitely different to other leagues, but I'll need more than 3/4 teams to create something here. So if you're interested, please do!

DW, at earliest the draft would begin at the end of this month, and even then the first six rounds will be classic PC draft before we move to the accelerated league format, so that nobody gets top heavy.
