1. Buy the game.
2. Open it.
3. If you bought the DVD version, insert the DVD into your drive. Otherwise install CD1 into the CD-ROM.
4. If you don't get Autostart, go into My Computer, open up your CD-ROM drive and click on Autorun.exe.
5. Follow the installation steps. If you have the PC-CD version, it'll tell you when to insert discs 2-6.
6. Double-click on the BLIC icon on your desktop and enter your disc code.
7. Restart your comp to enable the disc protection.
You restart your computer so that the safedisc (I think that's the technology) can be activated and added to your profile. Once you restart your computer, and try to run the game, it will say "Checking Disc" and then the game should load.
If it doesn't work and you have an original disc, you should get in touch with Codies and ask for a replacement disc or something.

Email codemasters customer services with a screenshot of everything you have to prove you bought the game and have the game...etc...and they will help you

The code on the disc? On the back of the booklet? Maybe you lost the little sheet which had the code on it. You gotta contact codies and prove that you have a legit copy.
if its starforce your screwed starforce has been to court about this before its a driver for copy protection ect, and you cant get rid of it, people of had lots of trouble constant rebooting, dvd drives not workin ect, basically depends on your hardware.
