I'm playing as the whole team and finding that when batting as a lefty I can play beautiful pull shots either side of square leg for 4 and play really nice shots to leg side but when batting as a right hand batsman inputting the same controls except opposite of course the batsman plays that hook shot which occasionally goes for 4 or just dribbles with no power to square also the right hand batsman plays a leg glance which the lefty never plays I just can't seem to play a nice pull shot as a right hander does anyone else find this happening

I really battle when I bat as a left handed
I dont really have trouble batting as either it just seems batting as a lefty plays better pull and leg side shots a than right handers even though I am inputting the same controls

Is it possible you're misjudging the line to the right-hander and trying to pull from too far outside off?

I can deffo play pull shots but it really depends on the pitch conditions how early or late you need to play

No cause if it to far to the off side the batsman just misses the ball altogether my timing is right its just the right hander plays a hook shoot instead of a pull shot

Yeap! Can vouch 4 that. Just tested it in the net. It's hook for rhb and pull for lhb. Weired really. And never noticed it before! Thank you 4 pointing it out m8! :)

I generally find batting easier with a left handed batsmen. Even cover driving and finding gaps through the offside seems better with a left handed batsman.

Is there a difference in the way you feel ease with one hand type of play , think its subjective to the player, but is it something like you can play lefty but not righty for the same shots nope.

My personal perspective both are well balanced, there are other factors though, as left hand batsman you face a lot of Right arm bowler hence it may give a ease to playon the leg side or pull cause of the angle you get, generally glancing is easier against left armers for RHB. but if you know to pick deliveries neither hand bowler should trouble neither hand batsman much to execute their shots.

For pull shot if the foot work takes you to the ball he will definitely play the pull shot and RS direction matters a lot. if its between 8-10 pull will only execute.

My issue is that the left hander plays the pull and very rarely plays the hook shot but the right hander plays the hook shot and not the pull shot even though I input the same controls I know how to pick deliveries I have spent 100S of hours playing and relative to where the ball is if the batsman is going to play that shot they still play the hook shot

Both games are easier to bat with left handers it must be the angles.

are you on PS4 by any means if so there is a possibility it can be due to a issue with logos that @blockerdave experienced before. if you are willing can you try deleting all the logo save data and then trying the batting out and see if it feels alright. It kind of solved batting issues for a few as odd as it sounds.

Also this may sound like im trying to say you are doing it wrong and pardon me if you are not, but can you see if the RS is not going below 8' clock going for pull with RHB, this can be a issue sometimes and i have experienced as well, were i thought i was pulling but was getting RS too fine than i thought.

I've tried the logo thing and it still happens plus I use the default grounds at times and it still happens on them as well
I also play with the bowling far camera view with inverted controls so my RS would be 3 oclock for pull shot as for left hander it is 9 oclock I have a feeling it could be the view I'm playing in as I went in to ground training and seemed to be able to play pull shots quite easily in the batsman view but can't really test it properly as there is no option to play with bowling far camera in training a glaring omission as it was in DBC 14 anyway different camera views should not really effect controls
Maybe you should try the views im using I would be interested in your results[DOUBLEPOST=1491749235][/DOUBLEPOST]

I also found this to be the case as well

ok i gave this a shot, its a really tough moving from behind batsman cams to bowling far for batting, and what i experienced was i was hooking a lot, but due to my thumbing pulling RS behind, and once i was able to make sure its going at 3 i was able to pull, also was able to hook with LHB if i pull back RS. But its a really tough cam to bat.

here's the play, sorry for the horrendous quality messed up the recorder settings
