Sanath Jayasuriya smashed twin centuries at his favorite batting venue to set up victory for Sri Lanka. Muttiah Muralitharan then finished the job with a second innings five-fer. Pakistan it seemed had missed a trick by going with only one specialist spinner on a turning pitch, leaving too much on the shoulders of Abdul Qadir who struggled for rhythm throughout the match and proved expensive with the ball.
