B) anyway his time was up. but he was a great batsman and a good striker of the ball, but sad when he played his last test there were only about 20 people in the stadium(sharjah),compared to steve waugh more then 20000,

B) Waugh has scored 508 runs at 36.28 this season, some way behind his outstanding overall average of 52.07 over a 19-year first-class career. His international record has been remarkable as well. In 128 Tests, he accumulated 8,029 runs at an average of 41.82, and 8,500 runs at 39.35 in 244 one-dayers.

Marka Waugh will be missed. Very good opener for aus for many yrs.

Yeah i agree guys, a sad day it was. I used to watch him play every chance i got. I had the privalige of meeting the man in Sydney. I got to speak to him, Andrew symonds and Matthew Hayden for about an hour for a junior cricket do. I used to love the way he seemed to have all the time in the world to play his shots, and always looked good as he did it. I dont know anyone who played with such style.

 ya he was one of my favs ,to bad the aussies dint even give him a good farewell
