Mobile Call/Message Blocking !!!

hi

can anyone tell me that how can i block incoming calls/messages from a mobile number ? Is there any software/application file available for this purpose. It can be done by service provider but it has two problems;
1. service provider can only block the numbers offered by their network, they dont block or take action for the number from another network.
2. If I want to temporarily block incoming call/message then service provider will not do it.

By using any software/tool I can easily block the incoming call for the desired period of time.

I have nokia 6030. I will be thankful if anybody can help me on it. I get many of the unknown wrong calls & messages. plz anybody help me!!!!!

This is one app that can block calls from certain apps
However i would suggest contacting your service provider and getting them to block the numbers.

Or better yet, turn off your phone when they start calling.

They might think you got a new number or something

And if that doesn't work, then answer the phone, but don't talk.

Instead, play the audio of a very loud video with a woman (or man) screaming.

See what happens

any other software that could support my nokia 6030 in your knowledge ? can the file sis be converted to the compatible one for nokia 6030 ?

well one can hang fot one call, two calls, three calls.....but how can anyone tolerate the calls & unknown dump messages coming continously. turning the set off is a good idea but it will not be possible for me as i use the mobile at nearly every half an hour.no body knows that when the unknown caller is going to call you. service providers dont take action if the network is not theirs....

If someone is really troubling you, and your Network refuses to help, you could lodge a complaint with the Police. It may sound impractical, but it is being done.
is your phone S40? if it is, then i don't think there will be any app for doing this. Java based apps generally do not support such things.
