4.Casino Royale

Either Casino Royal or King Kong, only two movies ive seen, i was dragged by there by my girlfriend i wasnt happy, i hate sitting for long periods of time.

I didn't see Casino Royale and Borat so far, but I've seen Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest and I liked it. Alongside with X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Mission Impossible 3 was better then the second version, but not that great. But I don't remember much movies from this year.

I heard Miami Vice, V for Vendetta and Superman Returns were also good movies.

The stupid Oscars being in February or March makes us forget that there were actually some excellent movies in 2006 before the rest of the year got filled up with abject crap (until Borat - Yakshimash ). The best five films I've seen this calendar year are:

1) The Constant Gardener
2) Capote
3) Sin City
4) Borat
5) Lucky Number Slevin

Although Borat was very good, I wouldn't say it was the best this year. That probably goes to Casino Royale. The plot was decent, excellent acting, directing and dialogue.

2. Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest

Dirty Sanchez and Jackass weren't really films per say, but i've never come out of a cinema with more satisfaction than when watching those two movies.
