Ricky Ponting is a very good inclusion in the side. For the previous seasons, MI were lacking a solid batsman in the top order and had to do with the bits and pieces players. Now that they have Punter, you can expect them to score huge runs.

And now the captain has picked up on it as well, drop yourself to 3 or maybe even from the team altogether.

Mumbai Team management needs to take hard decision to drop Ponting like what Sangakkara did for SRH due to bad form and they can bring in our "million dollar baby" MAXWELL.

We may get extra bowling option too, support to Ojha-Harbhajan... but problem is captaincy. We don't have any better captain than Ponting as of now. Harbhajan and sachin are not interested to lead the side anyways.
