Murali and Sri Lankans egged in Tasmania

horrible behavior by some of the aussies.

This is really a black day for cricket!! Why did Murali get abused??? Is it only because he has passed Warne's record of taking the most wickets in Test cricket? Everytime he goes to Australia, he gets abused.

Very disappointing. I guess the Aussie fans are going to remove their frustation on every off spinner.

Grow up.

How the hell u know they were aussies  u were present there ??

Maybe they were Greeks then??

The Aussie supporters really needs to do something about their behaviour...
I've also heard once from an Article in SA cricket magazine when Dale Steyn first came on to the scene and was in Australia he was verbally abused by the fans on the sidelines, i read that they told him he wasn't good enough for international cricket and stuff like that , Dale Steyn said he had tears in his eyes after the match :(
It really makes me mad and disapoints me.

I'd just like to point out that this is only a small minority of Australians. Possibly about 5 or 6 of them. Whilst their behaviour is disgraceful, it is in no way a reflection of the general Australian public so before anyone does, please don't generalise.

thats what i meant when i said "some" of the aussies.

yeah i agree with you Matt I've seen some very respectfull Aussies so i don't think all the Aussies are like that infact all around the world you get the accasional ******** ( well you get the point ) so not everybody is like that only like the rare guys who doesn't have something better to do with their life.

Isnt that the case always. Even in that Mumbai game between India and Australia it was only a very few who were causing problems, but yet the entire crowd was criticised (by members of this very forum).

As is the case with the whole "effigy burners" cult.

On topic, that's poor behaviour.

Was about to say that. Some of the Aussie members of this forum also generalised their criticisms on India as a whole when only a very small minority of them did what they perceived as 'mistakes'

Anyways, feel sad for Murali. He is a nice guy. May be I dont like his action, but he is a nice guy off the field. It seems the Aussies now vent their frustration on all off spinners (may be becoz they succeed against Australia?).

You guys shouldn't start attacking the PC members thats not what this topic is about its about what happend that night with Murali.....

somewhat hypocritical the way the aussies moan about other nations players and fans and forget about how they treat the greatest spinner ever
