I think irottev's post is right. From what I can gather from articles and witness statements and that, it was dark. They didn't know who it was, and so it's not a deliberate attack. This is now just going to be an incredibly easy way to deny the fact for anti-Aussie's (Mostly the Indians after the ho-ha) to go after the Australian's in a population, which isn't right at all.

I didn't, so I don't know why you're picking a bone with me. As a general rule, it was the "idiot" Australians that did that, not the members that you would say have an intellectual ability or know what they are talking about.

Presumably because it's been the middle of their night and they have been asleep? Added to the way that this thread has to been opened and suggested, it's started out as if it was the whole of Australia and they knew exactly what they were doing.

The Australian members can't really defend themselves when there isn't going to be a fair fight.

Whats funny is the media here is giving no coverage what so all about this incident, Fox Sport News has not said a word about anything and all week they have ben portraying the Indians as liars, sooks, and racists and now something like this happens which i believe to be way bigger than anything that happened at the SCG.

I'd say having a possible racist comment made is far bigger than a World Class player being egged by people who couldn't see him and therefore knew who he was. That means that there isn't a motive, so it's not an attack, it's more of an accident.

This is not the first time they have insulted Murali like this.Its not a coincidence then.

There is a world of difference from what is often, althought not always, banter from the sidelines and some kind of physical attack, which has already been shown as being in the dark so they had no idea it was actually him.

So your arguement is irrational, holds no evidence and is based solely on the fact that you want an outlet to abuse a peoples because of a petty incident on a cricket field that should have been sorted out, but because of the incompetance of the cricketing boards has still been left with emotions high and the issue wide open.

Why dont you give these lectures to your fellow aussie members?I hope they can learn something from you.I have seen some of the posts by them in the other thread generalising indian people.It seems the eggs they were throwing at indians is coming back on their faces now.
