It seems the eggs they were throwing at indians is coming back on their faces now.

I'd say having a possible racist comment made is far bigger than a World Class player being egged by people who couldn't see him and therefore knew who he was. That means that there isn't a motive, so it's not an attack, it's more of an accident.

What im talking about is the apparent lack of coverage on this story , i mean that whole thing that happened at the SCG was overblown out of proportion by the media and yet when something happens against overseas players there is absolutely nothing in the media here, and what im disgusted at is that an indian news channel broke the story last night while nothing on Australian airwaves, this is serious, an international cricketer was attacked and i find that more serious than just words said between players.

The Sri Lankan manager, who was there at the time, said abuse was shouted, and eggs were thrown, but it was too dark and the car was travelling too fast for any recognition of the people involved to be made.

Thus I believe the case is that, Teenagers + Alcohol + A Saturday Night + A Busy street + A Car + The Dark = Slightly illegal mischief making that has been blown out of proportion and used an an opportunity to hound and abuse the entire country.
