I thought I'd give this a go now I've finally edited the game enough to make it playable.

User team - Australia
Match length - 50 overs
Difficulty - Hard
Patches - Boss's gameplay, Sam's runout, Sam's cursor
Used my own fields, and a shed load of downloaded graphics.

(A big thank you to everyone who has made anything that makes this game more enjoyable and playable!)

I played the first game against Bangladesh yesterday...

Australia won the toss and chose to field. Bangladesh were 102 all-out in 30.3 overs.

Javed Omar top scored with 39 off 54, including 5 fours.

Shane Warne was the pick of the bowlers with 3/15

Australia reached 3/103 in 19 overs.

Gilchrist and Hayden just missed 50, both getting out LBW while on the attack.

Gilchrist and Hayden got AUS off to a flying start, but England tightened up in the field and held the run-rate at around 4.5.

After an opening stand of 69 Gilchrist was first to go, bowled by Gough for 37 (56).
Hayden was trapped LBW by Giles for 40 (69) and Martyn was runout two balls later. 3/101
Ponting got in, but failed to go on and make a score, he was bowled by Giles. 4/128

Symonds and Clarke did a good job of rebuilding until Clarke missed a ball by Flintoff. That was 5/173

Symonds had good support from Harvey and Warne, increasing the run-rate to around 5 an over, as he went past 50. He was later runout for 60 (72)

Australia looked to be heading for a total of around 230 until Warne and Lee frustrated Harmison and Ali by edging balls to the boundary through a vacant slip corden.

Symonds' and Warne's spider graphs...

Piling on the runs in the last five overs, Australia made it to 8/265 after 50 overs, leaving England needing to score at 5.32 runs per over to win

England's first 15 overs:

The top-order attempted too many risky shots, and four wickets fell in quick succession.

1/14 - Jones was caught behind off Gillespie for 5
1/14 - Vaughan was out for a duck, caught behind trying to hook.
3/22 - Trescothick edged a drive to Ponting at slip, off McGrath.
4/24 - Strauss got a regulation edge to slip to give Gillespie his third wicket.

England looked in serious trouble, until Kevin Pietersen had a stoke of luck. He flashed at a wide ball and got the edge, but it just cleared the slips and went for 4.
84684706.jpg

That was the turning point as Flintoff 48* (43) and Pietersen 31* (27) took control of the game. Their stand was an unbeaten 81 after 15 overs.
84684713.jpg

That took England to 4/105 after 15 overs, scoring at an incredible 7 runs per over. The required rate is now just 4.5.

England are well ahead of the run rate, it's just a question of keeping enough wickets in hand to see the innings through. This could go either way!

so uve lost then?

There are still 35 overs to go. They need to score at 4.5, we need to take 6 wickets.

I'm not even sure who's favourite.

Flintoff got his 50....

And then got out. Stumped as he came down the track and missed Warne's googly.

Collingwood was run out in the same over to leave England 6/124. Australia have to be favourites again now!

Pietersen was back in the pavilion just seven runs later after edging a ball from Warne to Ponting at slip. He scored 41 from 40 balls.

That was 7/131, and Giles and Gough followed quickly leaving England 114 runs short at 9/152.

The match seemed to be over, but Ali and Harmison just kept on batting.

Harmison survived a close LBW shout, and flashed balls over the slips for 4.
84706937.jpg

The pair took the score past 200, with Ali 49* (61) and Harmison 13* (43)

This is the situation with 13 overs remaining:

Surely they can't pull off the impossible?

can you not bowl? just bowl offstump yorkers for 5 balls then a short wide one with a man on the cover boundary alwaysworks caught or second slip
