So, last night whilst out in the freezing cold with mates playing some cricket on the astro-turf near my house, I just happened to get myself hospitalized.

Now, you may ask how on astro-turf do I do that, well, its quite easy. Tear your muscle, and then land on it with about 16 stone and about 100mph, and you'll find it hurts, pretty badly.

Well I know people won't care, but anyone any idea how long it'll take to recover from a muscle tear, not quite as bad as my first attempt, but still managed to do it so I'm gunna suffer from a few migranes over the coming weeks. The doctors said I can start Physio by the end of January, early February. So I'm hoping not to miss much of the season.

Just my bloody luck!

Anyone else been injured over the Christmas period?

depends how badly you have torn it really? i'm sure they explained there are 3-4 types of tear?

Well its basically just torn right down where they fixed it last time, round the back of my shoulder. I believe it involved the rotator cuff (?) somewhat. Otherwise I'm not entirely sure whats been done this time as I wasn't seen by a surgeon as they had no reason to operate like they did last time.

Tell you what, the face on my mother when I got to her house was funny as hell (its closer than mine, and she could drive :p).

Hee, looks like we will be having pyshiotherapy at the same time. The old knee injury is back for me, so hopefully they will be able to fix it once and for all, even if it requires an operation. Just want to be ready for the uni's cricket tour

Ouch, hadn't thought about Uni, ah well, its only indoor stuff now.

I can top this story. Went up and played cricket on the astroturf, friend tries to smash it down to cow corner, misses, ends up in a heap. The two of us there with him laugh, because he fell over, lol. He stays down, so we go over, turns out he's in a fair bit of pain and can't put any weight on his leg.
Get him to the hospital, turns out he managed to break his lower leg in 3 places because he didn't play straight.

I have (what feels like) trapped a nerve in my hip. I say feels like, because I'm not sure if it's possible to trap a nerve there, but that's exactly how it feels, having done it numerous times in my shoulder.

I was walking through town and I just got loads of pain down my right leg. I can't walk properly now, which is gay.
