Yes, BCB have persisited with Asraful for too long. I think he deserves the sack now. There are better players waiting in the wings and it is time for Asraful to make way for younger and better talent.

Yea, Ashraful has to go. He gets given chance after chance and consistently fails. Unless he proves his form domestically, then he doesn't really deserve to be in the team.

Domestic improvement of form wont help him. He needs to play in the county.
No offence, but I dont think that Bangla has a good domestic set-up.

When he was dropped recently, I heard he got like 5/6 ducks in domestic. He can't score in such a low standard competition, on flat pitches why does he get picked. There are many guys in there who are averaging 50-60, idk what else they should do to get picked.

If I was a county, I wouldn't pick him. He'd just hold the team back with his miserable form.

Its a one-day series. New Zealand should win it comfortably, ideally 5-0. However, the scoreline may even be 4-1 or so.

I can't believe they got rid of those 2 Test matches.

Tamim is only 100 away from scoring 1000 runs in this season. Only 2 other Bdeshi ever done it. Those 2 would've been the last tests of this season too. Now they wont even play test, until the end of WC next year.

So he shouldn't play this series. Good time to get the surgery done, and get ready for WC. He wouldn't wanna miss out on that. Look at the big picture dumbass BCB.

But then again, he got back-to-back 100s with a injured wrist, so it could be lucky charm... :p

I thought there was only 3 ODIs like they usually do when NZ play Bangladesh. Good to have more games though. It'll help NZ acclimatize to the subcontinent.

It actually doesnt make sense to have a 5 match series against Bangla. Since they have doen awya with the Tests, they had to slot in something. Probably they could have included 2 T20i's in there.

The BCB said Bangladesh won't play T20s until the WC ends. They will only focus on ODIs between this period

It was originally a 3 ODI, 2 Test Series. Then both board talked about getting ready for WC. So they got rid of the Tests, and added 2 more ODI.

Bangladesh only played 1 off T20 this whole year. I am glad they don't play much of those. They suck at it even more. They go nuts, when they come to bat. They think, it's all about slogging.

I'm sick of playing Bangladesh. We seem to have to play them well over our quota. ASome better opponents would be nice. We're 2nd in the world for ODIs atm or around there so it's not like we should be treated like minnows.

In a way it's a shame the ICC keep wiping off tests however playing Bangladesh in tests is a bit of a waste of time to be blatantly honest.

5 ODI's?? this will be just too boring, thats way too many against bangladesh but i guess that gives plenty of game time to vettori and mccullum to acclimatise.
