New Zealand Premier League XIII

The Stewarts have got some strong internationals, but they dont really have any good NZ players.
What if they end up the champions? :spy

They can't score any points. ;)

hahaha nice BKB :P

Their NZ players aren't bad though.

Chewie added 1 Minutes and 46 Seconds later...

A lineup of

1. Salman Butt
2. Richard Jones
3. Suresh Raina
4. Yuvraj Singh
5. Anaru Kitchen
6. Ryan ten Doeschate
7. George Worker
8. Doug Bracewell
9. Brandon Hiini
10. Carl Frauenstein
11. Ray Price

Does look rather intimidating

I forgot to mention they can make an unlimited amount of free agent trades, so if one of their players isn't preforming they can bring in someone else to replace them.
Also remember every team has one trade with them, which can be made at any stage throughout the tournament starting from now.

I think most people would like to see how they go first :)

Can we trade with Stewart Island?

Read this, throughout the season every one of the eight official teams will be allowed to make one trade with them.
So to answer your question yes you can trade with them, but you can only make one trade with them throughout the whole season, so if you use your one trade now you will not be able to make another trade with them later on in the season.

Lol, must have missed that :laugh

And yeah I read your post completely wrong :facepalm

No keeper??? :what

I'm thinking ten Doeschate will bat at seven adding some depth to their batting order, as this will allow them to play one or two bowling all-rounders at eight and nine, plus still have six specialist batsmen as Weston can keep and Yuvraj/Raina/Malik can bowl.

Rohit's not in the team :p

Makes sense though. The SI Rejects are basically your team in the NZPL, it's up to you :)

Please start naming your captains now.
The same rule will apply as last season, where your captain will be your only player that doesn't need a rest in the group stage.
All of your other 17 players will need to be rested in at least one of your 11 group matches.
None of your players will need to be rested in any of the play-off matches.
Because of this rule there will be no injuries again, as I think this system worked fine last season.
