Auckland (and Wellington) veteran Richard Jones has been named as captain of the Stewart Island Rejects for New Zealand Premier League season five.
He has been playing domestic cricket in New Zealand for a massive 19 years, and has amassed 132 List A matches, as well as 124 First-class matches.
His only previous New Zealand Premier League experience came last season for the Waikato Warriors, where he scored six runs in his only innings.
