Very interesting series by the looks of it. Kane Williamson's men are looking for wins in the country, while for Kohli's team it will be tough beating the Kiwis. Good luck to both teams. Tour matches might be announced later., which i will edit when they announce

The thread looks fine. It will be a good series. Both teams are of equal strength and I am looking forward to how KW will handle it.

This will be a really good series. NZ have just lost against South Africa and it will be interesting to see how they will bounce back. India, obviously are favourites, but NZ can certainly give them a fright or two. Southee and Boult will be tough to play and it will interesting, Bolt vs Kohli. Really.looking foreward to it. It will be a real test for KW''s young team. For India this will be good practice in the lead up to the series against England.

This series might be a good time to bring some new faces to expiremention before the England.series. I would say:
Maybe bring Gautam Gambir back for.Dhawan
Perhaps try out Kuldeep Yadav.
But really the main thing is that India should focus more.on batting, since Kiwis are tougher to face than the West Indies. India need to drop Stuart Bonny and pick a batsmen who can bowl, as to give the captain an extra bowling option if needed. I'd pick Kuldeep Yadav as.to expirement.

No way we need 4 specialist spinner in the team of 15.Jadoo/Mishra and Ash enough.GG done now, no place for him.selection of Bhuvi is wrong choice on subcontinent wicket.he will not get same bounce from sub-continent wicket as WI.

With all due respect, put that in perspective of the other big scores in the Duleep Trophy. Those scores in a domestic context are`nt exactly invincible. I would hate to see us going back to Gambhir, especially with so many talented youngsters around. He is well past his prime, as we saw in England in 2014. Lets not go back to the likes of Gambhir and Yuvraj.

I don't feel that's fair. Tests have nothing to do with age. If Gambhir is good enough, he can play into his late 30's. You can never say when a player's prime is/was till he's finished. Tendulkar went berserk in the 2008-2011 period when a lot of people thought he was done. Misbah for Pakistan could play another 2-3 years I feel. Mike Hussey came in late and no one could figure why he left!

Personally, I feel Gambhir is motivated. His attitude is pissing off but we have to see the best thing for Indian cricket. He's scoring runs, he's brilliant against spin and at the moment better than Dhawan on every level. Is he the best choice for reserve opener in India? I think that's a debate worth having.

However, Kohli has a serious inexplicable affection for Dhawan and Rohit which I'm not explaining.
