This draft is all about the best players who never reached those landmarks which we all savour. All the participants will pick eleven players (test matches) on the basis of following rules:

The player should not have scored a century or taken a 5-fer at test level.
All the players should be picked on the basis of their Test match performance.

Any player is allowed so long as they have no centuries or five-wicket hauls. It's just easier than trying to figure out a mixture of rules in my view, but just because it's my view doesn't mean it is necessarily right

I’m interpreting this draft as an attempt to build a crap team, and therefore I’m going to pick my go to crappy player, Ian Salisbury.

He does have a test half century, unfortunately, making him an edge case for the draft, but he was a bowler first and a record of 20 wickets from 15 matches at 76.95 means he was never going to trouble the engraver on the honours boards.

It’s ok, I understood. I just chose to interpret it - at least for some of my picks - as that.

I will keep Salisbury for sure
