One Cricket ODI Game

There is going to be an ODI match commentated by the members of planetcricket.

If anyone has seen the commentary of cricinfo of the games, this is what this forum is about. You make it up with your imagination.

I encourage people to record the scoreboard and the bowling figures in each post.

Everyone has 2 overs each.

The match is the 3rd match of the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy. The series is 1-1. We are going to decide what is going to happen. There is no rain.

Australia vs. New Zealand.

1.1 Clarke plays a defence shot and goes for the quick single.
1.2 Glichrist has an edge but it drops short of 2nd slip.
1.3 Whack, away for 4.
1.4 Blocked.
1.5 Slower ball but this time Gilchrist gets hold of it and gets 3.
2.0 Left alone.

Gilchrist is on strike
1.1 OUT!!! Bouncer from Oram, Gilchrist tries to hook it, gets a nick and a great catch by Mcullum running backwards to take it. Big breakthrough for New Zealand.
Ponting the new man in.
1.2 Ponting finds the edge but luckily it drops short of 2nd slip.
1.3 Edged, and DROPPED by Fleming. The offcutter and Fleming drops and absolute sitter
1.4 Blocked. No Run
1.5 Short ball. Ponting attempts to pull at it but gets hit in the stomach instead. Bounces higher than expected. Paramedic on the field now, might need a runner. No runner required.
2.0 Wide outside offstump, Ponting wants nothing to do with it. Maiden Wicket over for Oram.
