Pakistan tour of Australia (Dec 2016 - Jan 2017)

He was 14 when he made this test debut according to some reports.
Some reports? It is poor birth records and certificates that is common in Indians and Pakistanis that makes people believe that people are younger than they actually are. 14 is overboard. The last age I heard was 15, not 14 for Raza. There is no evidence why he would be picked AT 14.

He hasn't proved it yet.

True, but I feel that he will in the near future. He has played some nice knocks in ODI already and I can see him replacing Afridi down the order. (Hopefully considerably more consistent than him)

Afridi was a big hitter of the ball. It will be a very difficult task replacing Afridi.

You don't need to hit the ball hard to get it over the boundary these days. Plus there are lots of batsmen nowadays with the skills to score faster than Afridi and for longer than Afridi. I would hope he becomes a good finisher for Pakistan, something we have needed for some time now.

I'd love Pakistan to put on a good show, I think they could do pretty well but Brisbane will be a tough ask. I'm headed down to Sydney to watch day 3 so if the series was still alive I'd be happy. Hazelwood is a bowling so well right now I rate him more than Starc, that consistency he has along with just enough shape is unreal.

Ha! Afridi was a load of crap. I dont understand what he did but he rarely contributed or made a big score. His average tells that. I think for T20's Imad Wasim is a good lower order batsman. The guy is a good striker for the final overs.

He may not have performed but the name is mightier than his performance.... He is like Chris Gayle... even if you know that he is out of form, you can't take him lightly or this can happen....

Remember the 2014 Asia Cup Match between India and Pakistan

Australia's debutants have a dream opportunity to survive for some years ahead. Grab it!!! The out of form players would be praying to get an opportunity as well in upcoming test matches to put some centuries and double tons.

The best thing about for debutants and out of form players is the number of dropped catches they would hoping to to regain their form back and have a go.

Australia is favorite here on paper and based on Pakistan's latest history.. Lets see how it goes.

I feel that the Gabba Test is suited for the Australians. Pakistan batsman have struggled aganist the moving ball and they will find it difficult there. Sydney and Melbourne are ideal for Pakistan, as it spins there in SCG and quite a bit in Melbourne. Yasir Shah would do well there. He seemed useless in NZ, but,you cant really blame him because there was less spin, and he was used for 6 overs.
