Patch 3 Released on Xbox One and PS4

The co-op patch is now out for the new consoles, thanks for your patience in waiting for it to make it.

the game freezes on startup, if i am signed in,

if i'm not signed in i can get to the menu screen, if i do manage to get to the first over of the game the game shows the bowler getting ready for his run-up, the sounds begin looping

simulating to my career player gives me a black screen

all of this started happening after i downloaded the latest patch

Hmmm, haven't come across anything like this in testing, sounds like somehow your install got corrupted during the download of the patch.

Can I get you to try a hard reset - while at the main Xbox menu, hold the power button down for 10 seconds, then wait about 30 seconds and then press the power button again. This clears out some caches that might be going wrong.

If that doesn't work, you might need to delete the game and reinstall it - if you've been allowing the game to sync your save files, they'll just sync down next time you load the game up, so you won't lose any progress.

If that still doesn't work, I'll have to get back to you at work on Monday, when I can examine further potential solutions.
