Patch installation

Hey Guys,
I just tried to install patch 2.0 i just dont know what the problem is but nothing simple gets installed i have installed Cricket2004 in drive D: does that make a difference but during installation of the patch i give it the files correct location but nothing aint happening and when i try to import bitmaps from GD kit replacer it says bitmap not valid if any one with sujjestions please inform me

This may sound dumb, but have you got any other patches installed and also have you tryed repairing the c2k4 files with the cd? one other thing are you running xp and useing a 2nd user name?

No i aint got no other patch installed ahh but once i tried to open the Gob file in ms word but i guess that doesnt have to do anything with this but the thing is i did not install any patch before

well after you opened your .gob file with word, did it hold word format?

No it Didn't it was totally blank

Hey Yes It Still Holds the word Format But when i do open it is Totally Blank

When you opened you cricket_pc.gob file with ms word did it say a word doc?

ok, if its still holding ms word format try renaming it back cricket_pc.gob if that will not work you need to go into your folder
options, click file types and find .gob file in the list and change or delete it.
