PATH TO GLORY
India in ICC World T20, 2012.

India celebrating their first ever T20 World title at Johannesburg.

With the ICC World T20, 2012 being shifted to India due to internal disputes in Sri Lanka Cricket board, Indians are under pressure to perform at their home. India have played very few T20 international games when compared to other nations, and like adding salt to injury, India have not won many, which has placed them 7th in the ICC T20i rankings.

India's schedule:

Practice matches:
India v Australia at Bengaluru- Floodlit match.
India v South Africa at Hyderabad- Floodlit match.

Pool Stage:
India v Afghanistan at Hyderabad- Floodlit match.
India v England at Bengaluru- Floodlit match.

India Squad:

Virender Sehwag
Gautam Gambhir
Virat Kohli
Suresh Raina
Rohit Sharma

MS Dhoni (C)
Robin Uthappa

Yusuf Pathan
Irfan Pathan
Ravindra Jadeja

Zaheer Khan
Umesh Yadav
Vinay Kumar
Harbhajan Singh
Pragyan Ojha

Will team India repeat the 2007 scenes and win their second title?

Dhoni Looks Confident

Indian Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is looking confident ahead of ICC World T20. He spoke to media on the day before their first practice match against Australia, who have ended up second in previous edition of the tournament. India will play two practice matches prior to their opening game against Afghanistan.

Dhoni said that this format is completely different one and the one who gives his 100% in the total 40 overs of play will end up the winner, as the slack time to cover the score if you go down once or give away too many runs. "Its a format where you need to be on top all the 40 overs, no matter what the pitch condition is. Indians have done it together a bit earlier, but not lately due to not many T20i's involved in our schedule. Although all the people in the squad have done it individually for their respective franchisees of IPL, doing it together will make us win the World Cup."

On being questioned if they are sure of repeating the 2007 heroics, he said that they'll give out their 100%. "Well of course, after the 2007 edition, we haven't played with our full strength squad, due to injury issues. This time, we are going again with full strength squad, and yes, we are hoping for another world title. It feels great when you are the World ODI and T20 champions, ain't it?"

Good presentation. Rahane should be there though. ---- useless BCCI!

And more useless Jadeja should be cooling his heels in Saurashtra. Hope Jadeja and Uthappa (I'm a once fan of his) gets injured and Rayudu and Rahane gets in the team somehow.

----------

Presentation is fantastic. Get some storyline in that too like rifts, uncomfortable questions over fitness of players, injures etc.

He's just so crap. He doesn't even know what he's saying. He says that you need to give 100% in all 40 overs and you cannot afford to give too many runs even in one over. If that's the case then the opposition has put 100% effort in only two overs and yet they win. Hence proved Dhoni's crap :p
