Haydos, you beauty! It was relieving to win, more than anything else. The bowlers went for a bit too many despite having 5 specialist bowlers and 2 genuine allrounders (Watto has bowling like a club cricketer for us and his batting haven't been too good as well while he keeps piling up runs for other teams in the competition). We needed someone to play a special innings and others to get the runs around him and I'm chuffed thats exactly how we played with Haydos stitching up a good partnerships with Sanga and Kallis providing the foundation stone of the win.
We have a must win game next and I hope we will graduate to the next round finishing the league phase on a high.

Our bowlers did well restricting Aces to below 275., although what Guptill played was brilliant. Langeveldt and Alfonso, both did very well not letting the match go out of control. But, all said, it was Virat Kohli who stole the show. Glad to see him doing well after 2 bad matches. Amla was fantastic as well getting on a good partnership along with Kohli.

Typical Indian pitch (good stuff with the ratings). The bowlers are simply meant to bowl 50 overs and ensure the team doesnt get a good score in. And then hope your batsmen chase it. Good stuff from Morgan, Bell and Kallis. Think the side is shaping up well in these conditions
