Atleast you are getting out in the deep... I m getting out in the circle even for good and ideal timing shots. :(

Yeah, that happens too. It seems playing in your batsman raises confidence and helps a little, but it almost seems like it wants you to play in until you're at 50 and then go for lofted shots. That would be alright, but by then your so scared you'll lose what you've earned with one marginally mistimed shot that you continue groundstroking, at least that's what's happening amongst my friends.

There's an update to the preview now available.

This makes a variety of changes in response to feedback so far,

- Restoring timing windows to current console patch
Most found six hitting too easy on hardest with the last build.

- Adjusted base confidence
There was a bug here which caused fully green confidence at the start of an innings for batsmen in limited overs.

- Tuning of limited overs AI batting
This should help reduce how overpowered they are in how they build a first innings or bat in powerplays.

- Tuning of AI dismissals
There were some issues that led to a lack of outfield catches in limited overs, this should be improved now.

- Tuning of some shots
A few cases of shots going in the wrong direction or too weak should be improved here.

A few general comments on feedback so far - it has been really difficult to distinguish comments and questions from people on console to comments on what is actually changed here.

Though i am on console, this is some fantastic work. Great progress. Just a humble request, kindly look into the fielding presets for limited overs cricket. If its not possible to make changes in field pre sets, kindly allow AI to select custom fields like it did in early dbc 17 days. This would go a long way in making limited overs cricket more enjoyable.

The speed and response to some quite intricate cricketing problems has been really spot on recently. I'll have a play over the weekend.

I have both PC and PS4 copies at the moment, if my earlier posts were at all confusing. So I am keeping the original console build and seeing if the new PC previews are any good. @MattW - I'll be more obvious in which version I am using.

I have wondered what is happening out of shot that is making Gary look so happy! Its the kind of look I have come across in climatic moments of a certain film genre......[DOUBLEPOST=1526625208][/DOUBLEPOST]I am curious as to how people ar finding the batting experience on this build, my niche is tests and FC but would like to hear how things are generally.....
 
I am unable to download the latest update , ""it says Ashes.exe content corrupted , please refer steam help for more information error" I tried verifying integrity and it says 1 file failed to validate and will be reaquired but once download complete the same error pop up again and it keeps recycling.

Thanks BA for the quick response time... Really happy to see you guys working hard for us.
Just wanted to know that is the inner ring fielders slow motion mini game removed or are the fielders more responsive now... Can quick singles be stopped inside the circle? And what about the underpowered short towards third man?
