Retention Rules : Teams get 100,000 to get 18 to 20 players (max 9 ) from the auction... If teams want to retain players before auction, than they have to pay retention fee like mentioned below...

Retain 4 Players (3 + 1 OR 2 + 2 ) > 1st player 15,000 + 2nd player 11,000 + 3rd player 9,000 + 4th player 7,000 = Total 42,000
Retain 3 Players (2 + 1 OR 3 ) > 1st player 14,000 + 2nd player 10,000 + 3rd player 8,000 = Total 32,000
Retain 2 Players (1 + 1 OR 2 ) > 1st player 13,000 + 2nd player 9,000 = Total 22,000
Retain 1 Player (1 OR 1 ) > 1st player 12,000 = Total 12,000
